Divine Dessert for Your Valentine

The holidays might be over, but there’s always another reason to tease in a little dessert, especially when it’s themed. And while facing crowds or making reservations might not be your thing, this year we’ve rounded up five of Park City’s best eateries to help you bring the loving magic of Valentine’s Day, to the comfort of your couch.

Whole Foods Market

Who needs romance when you can pick up a Chantilly lobster tail from Whole Foods Market, complete with fresh strawberries, flaky pastry and an almond whipped Chantilly cream? If you’re in the mood for a classic dessert, try their tiramisu for two or finish your evening with a six-inch chocolate heart cake filled with chocolate mousse.

Element Kitchen & Bakery

Today is the last day to take home one of Element Kitchen’s Sweetheart Baker Boxes! Choose one mini tartlet (lime, lemon or fudge), two chocolate-covered strawberries, two hazelnut truffles and one strawberry mousse. Boxes are $30 each and serve two.

Fairweather Natural Foods

For those looking for an allergy-friendly dessert option this year, stop by Fairweather Natural Foods for their raspberry chia seed pudding topped with shredded coconut, gogi berries and cacao nibs. The market closes at 6 p.m., so grab one or two before heading to dinner.

Park City Provisions

Stop by Old Town’s only gourmet cafe and grocery and take out for this year’s take-home desserts. Choose from chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate cake pops or a cannoli. And those come in M&M, chocolate or pistachio!

Courchevel Bistro

They might be one of the newest spots in town but Courchevel Bistro knows how to celebrate the passionate reds and tickled pinks of this holiday. Choose from their red velvet cupcake topped with cream cheese frosting, candy heart cake pops or linzer cookies in the shape of a heart. Stop by before dinner or place your order in the afternoon and pick up on your way home.courchevel
