The perfect way to treat your significant other, surprise a friend, or say I love you to family this Valentine’s Day, is through their stomach! Make this Squatters‘ peanut butter chocolate pie recipe from our latest issue of Dishing. Everyone will be feeling the sweet satisfaction of dessert this holiday.
Ingredients
For the crust
- 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
For the filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 12 tablespoons shaved chocolate
Instructions
- Mix cookie crumbs, sugar and butter. Form into pie pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 F. Cool in freezer.
- Whip cream cheese, peanut butter and sugar together in mixer until stiff. Slowly add butter, vanilla and previously whipped cream. Pour into pie shell, garnish with shaved chocolate, cover and freeze.
